even though the roach is ‘still’ it feels as if it is moving cuz the legs are going in all different directions…like its trying to fight off something.

I really enjoy expressive drawing because you can choose to draw anything, use anything, and imagine anything. I found it pleasing to be off on my own little world just drawing for an hour or so.

The roach is stellar!! i love the use of mixed-media; gives it the perfect feel. I found the video to be very inspiring. First, to know that this was created by an SJSU student is motivating. To see the progression of the piece (how so much can change from start to finish) was great. It encourages me not to get discouraged when creating b/c you never know what a work can manifest into.
No rules and 100% imagination. I’m gonna like this.
