    Was this done using ink wash? I really love the amount of detail in his hair.

    I like the detail on the hair too; the viewer can definitly feel the texture. Because the hair is so dark and thick and his expression seems stern, he really reminds me of werewolf…

    This looks like it was done in charcoal or some kind of dry medium. I especially like the texture of the hair and the shading of the face.

    The details and shading looks really soft. I would have expected this to be pencil or charcoal.

    im surprised this is an ink wash! it looks like red or brown charcoal!
